I currenlty manage all aspects of the New Media Institute's social media, including strategy development, content creation, and analytics
monitoring. With the majority of my audience being students, I focus much of my attention on Instagram. Since starting at the NMI, there
has been an 169% increase in NMI Instagram followers and a 241% increase in TEDxUGA Intagram followers.
Along with social media management across numerous platforms, I also craft weekly email Updates for students, monthly Newsletters for the NMI's audience of students,
alumni, and industry allies, and weekly communication emails to keep departments around campus abreast of our initiatives and efforts.
As a way to streamline this process and assist future student workers in this position, I, along with a small team
of NMI faculty, created a comprehensive style guide. The style guide encompasses all aspects of the NMI's communicaiton
guidelines and social media presence, including platform overviews, communication procedures, statistics, and event protocal.
